Quick Update ~ Summer Craziness

Its been a crazy month so far!  With our trip and the big storm that we returned to at home, getting back into the work routine and of course the laptop being left behind on vacation, its been a while since I've been on here!  

We will be on the go again later today to take the boys camping for the weekend.  I just wanted to check quickly.

Part of the reason I have been MIA all week is the wild storm that ripped through out town last week.  We were hit with a system of microbursts (which are similar to tornadoes with different wind patterns). There was a lot of destruction and damage around us. We were without power for quite some time.

This happened (go figure) on the day that I had plans for a night away with girlfriends.  Our plans were foiled, but after the dust settled, a few of us got together for dinner, shopping and a movie (saw Grown Ups 2, pretty funny!)  The following day we all ended up getting together and having a relaxing day.
