The summer seems to be sneaking away from me. We have had a full & busy summer, and over the next couple of weeks we will be trying to develop some kind of routine as we get ready for the boys to go back to school. Some days I'm sad with the anticipation, other days I'm counting down. Its always a bittersweet time. On one hand, it will be nice to have a bit more time for the wee boys & for myself, but on the other hand, I will miss the big boys tremendously.

As today was a day where I'm feeling that back to school can not come fast enough (and when I'm hoping that tomorrow will be different!), I got to searching for some organizational tools to get back into the swing of things. Its been really hot so far this summer & I'm not complaining! I'm just looking for ideas to create frozen treats for cooling down. I love how easy these recipes are to make, and I love them as an alternative to brand treats that are probably packed full of things I'd rather not talk about. I'm not saying we don't enjoy a good freezie from time to time, but its nice to have these homemade, fruit-filled popsicles on hand for the kiddos!

10 Ideas for a Successful Yard Sale {Perfect Pins}

I've been getting things together to crash a friend's yard sale next weekend, and I'm really glad I started. I have realized that I'm way more of a hoarder than I had originally thought. But that's ok, I'm hoping to unload a lot of things next weekend. Its crazy how much clothing accumulates with all these boys. As things are passed down the line, the dressers overflow. #3 has 3 times as much at the others!

I'm also seriously asking myself if I've used an item in the past 6 months, and if the answer is no then whatever it is goes in a box. No fooling around this time. I really want to make better use of our storage areas and closets. This is helping BIG TIME!

With all of the nesting that I've been doing over the past couple of weeks, I decided to start looking for ideas to organize my craft space. Its likely just going to be the closet in my downstairs spare bedroom, but I'm excited anyway to eventually have an area for crafting & sewing, instead of using the dining room table.

St. Patrick's Day is a school day this year!!  YAY!!  I hope that I'm going to be able to make one of these treats below to send with the boys to school.  It will be an exciting day as its the first day back from March Break.  I can't believe how fast this week is going by. Its almost over & I'm sad!

I'm thinking that maybe Sunday I will try to get treats made, and maybe make it a team effort and the boys can help...  It will be a fun way to end the weekend and they will (hopefully) be just as excited as I will be to send some fun treats to school!

This winter has been feeling longer and longer. I've been sort of house bound for the past month and so I have been going from room to room trying to purge, rearrange, organize and get ready for the new addition. I have been looking to bins and storage ideas to keep things more under control. I am hoping that this time things will be more permanently tidy.  Fingers crossed.

I think there is nothing worse than being unable to find something, or forgetting about what's in that box until its too late.... like baby clothes that you drag out too late because you thought they were size 6 months but they were actually newborn!  I've done this a few times.

I've had a crazy week at work so far (its fairly easy to tell my work schedule based on blog activity... work = no posts for days).  I've had great experiences in the last couple weeks at work, and I have helped many babies arrive safe and sound into the world.  The only sad part of the job lately is that I have been away from my own babies a lot... and I feel like I'm missing out on all the fun of the first week back to/starting school.  I've also become overwhelmed (again) with all the paperwork that flows into our house via backpacks!
