My Boy's 5th Birthday!!

Ok, this is my very first post!  And wouldn't you know it... something weird happened and I lost the beginning of what I was trying to do... and I thought it was quite witty.... so I will try to repeat it...

Also, please let me know if there are some blogging rules that have been ignored.  I don't know how to do this...

My little one turned 5 back in November!  He is my oldest.  This birthday was surreal for me.  I can NOT believe that I am the mother of a 5 year old! (not to mention the 4 year old and 9 month old!).  So, after reminiscing and looking back at old photos, I decided that this birthday party would be all out!  I am on Maternity leave currently so that made it a little easier to plan & execute!  When I say a little, I mean that I still had the high energy baby to follow around... and he is everywhere... all the time!

So we decided on a dinosaur theme (me & the baby.. ha!) and we went to town!  I spent a lot of late nights on Pinterest searching for ideas.  There is a lot of WONDERFUL stuff out there!  I am going to try to post a link to that board for your viewing pleasure.  Let's see how that goes!!

So, back to Dinosaurs.... I spent an entire day being crafty!  Its been a long time since I was able to spend an entire day doing such things.  And I have to say that I renewed my love for scissors and glue!

So, here are some photos from the party!

Here are the initial few shots of the party!  My Big Guy was SOOO excited! (That's him in the striped shirt!)

This table... I used my Cricut for the banner... I'd like to say a big THANK YOU to my neighbour who lent me her cutting mat & hole punch!  There would have been no fabulous banner without you!

This dandy display was brought to us by the Qupcake Queen!  Here is a link to her FB page.  Stop by and give her a LIKE!~  They were fantastic! (The little dudes on top are handmade chocolates!!)

These cool dinosaurs are from Dollarama!

Marshmallows dipped in coloured chocolate dipped in sprinkles.. the kids LOVED these! (Ok, and the adults too!!)

This one was sugar-overload.... but so cute!

First time Photo Booth... Not too shabby!!

My Son and I!  :)  Happy Birthday!

We had a colouring station... the girls loved, the boys thought it was boring!

Even little dino sandwiches!

Here's another shot of LO taking in the scenery...

Baby Brother clearly enjoyed himself!!

Hope you enjoy my very first post!!!  (Hopefully there is someone out there who reads it!!!)
